Having a medical emergency? Call 911.

Chest pain, stroke symptoms, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, a major head injury, or a bone through the skin all need an emergency room. Do not drive yourself. Emergency rooms are required by federal law to examine and stabilize you regardless of your ability to pay.

Conover sits in the middle of one of the densest manufacturing and distribution corridors in western North Carolina — the I-40 and US-70 interchange puts warehouses, plants, and freight operations within a few minutes of each other. Injuries in that environment don’t wait for an appointment.

We’re about ten minutes from Conover via US-70, open until 7:30pm on weekdays and seven days a week, with digital X-ray on-site.

Why the second shift matters

Most occupational health clinics close at five. If your operation runs a second shift, an injury at 4:30pm means either an emergency room visit at ER prices or a worker waiting until the next morning to be evaluated — which delays treatment and complicates the claim.

We’re open until 7:30pm Monday through Friday and 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekends. An injured worker can be seen, X-rayed, treated, and given a written work status the same day.

Services for Conover employers

  • Pre-employment physical exams
  • Return-to-work and fitness-for-duty evaluations
  • Workplace injury treatment, with on-site digital X-ray
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Vaccinations and immunizations
  • Direct communication with your HR or safety contact on work status and restrictions

On-site imaging means one visit

A crush injury, a fall, a suspected fracture — we image it here and read it during the visit. No referral to a separate imaging center, no second appointment, no extra day of lost productivity.

Insurance and Medicaid

We accept NC Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance plans. Under NC Medicaid the maximum copay for any service is $4, and members under 21 are exempt entirely. If you’re uninsured, our self-pay pricing is published upfront — visits start at $125, and $165 covers your visit plus one X-ray or lab test.
