Having a medical emergency? Call 911.

Chest pain, stroke symptoms, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, a major head injury, or a bone through the skin all need an emergency room. Do not drive yourself. Emergency rooms are required by federal law to examine and stabilize you regardless of your ability to pay.

Caldwell County’s employer base spans furniture manufacturing, data center operations, and light industrial — and a large share of its workforce commutes along US-321 toward Hickory. We’re at the Hickory end of that corridor, about twenty-five minutes from Lenoir.

Coverage for employers with operations on both ends of 321

If your company runs facilities in both Caldwell and Catawba counties, or your workforce commutes between them, having an occupational health provider at the Hickory end gives you a second option — particularly for injuries late in the shift, when we’re open until 7:30pm.

Services for Caldwell County employers

  • Pre-employment physical exams
  • Return-to-work and fitness-for-duty evaluations
  • Workplace injury treatment, with on-site digital X-ray
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Vaccinations and immunizations
  • Direct communication with your HR or safety contact on work status and restrictions

On-site imaging means one visit

A crush injury, a fall, a suspected fracture — we image it here and read it during the visit. No referral to a separate imaging center, no second appointment, no extra day of lost productivity.

Insurance and Medicaid

We accept NC Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance plans. Under NC Medicaid the maximum copay for any service is $4, and members under 21 are exempt entirely. If you’re uninsured, our self-pay pricing is published upfront — visits start at $125, and $165 covers your visit plus one X-ray or lab test.

Common questions

How far is it from Lenoir?

About twenty-five minutes straight down US-321.

Why use you instead of a Lenoir provider?

If your facility is in Lenoir proper, a local provider may be more convenient. We’re the better fit if you have operations on the Hickory side, need late-shift coverage, or want on-site X-ray in a single visit.

Do you handle workers’ compensation claims?

Yes. Have the employee bring your carrier information.
